Privacy Policy – Tickbill

Effective date: 19 October 2026

Tickbill ("the app"), a free invoice and estimate maker, is published by appdroidapps, an individual developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and your rights. The short version: your business data stays on your device. It leaves the device only when you send or export it, and we never receive it.

1. Data stored on your device

Everything you enter in the app is stored only on your device: business profile, logo and signature images, UPI ID and payment link, clients, items, invoices, estimates, receipts, payments and settings. There is no account, no login and no server that holds your data. We cannot see, access or recover it.

If you turn on backup in your phone's settings, Android can include the app's data in your own Google device backup, so that it comes back when you set up a new phone. That backup is in your Google account, under Google's terms. We cannot see or access it. If you save a backup file from the app, it goes where you choose, for example your own Google Drive or the phone's storage.

2. Documents and messages you send

When you share a PDF or a reminder, the app opens your own WhatsApp, SMS, email or other app with the message ready. You choose the recipient and you send it. The document goes from your device to your client through that app, under that app's privacy policy. We do not receive a copy and we do not send messages for you.

3. Payment QR code and pay link

If you add your UPI ID or a payment link, the app prints a payment QR code and a pay link on the invoice. The QR code and link contain your payment details, the amount and the invoice number. Anyone who has the invoice or message can read them, so share them only with the client. Your client pays you directly through their UPI app or your payment provider. We do not process payments, and we never see payment details, payment status or card or bank data.

The UPI pay link points to the static web page appdroidapps.com/pay. The details are in the link itself (UPI ID, payee name, amount, note and due date). The page reads them in the client's browser, shows them, and builds the UPI QR code and the "Pay" button there. The page does not store anything, does not use cookies or local storage, has no analytics and makes no requests to other servers. It sends the details nowhere. Like any website, our host (Amazon CloudFront) receives the page request to deliver the page. We have access logging turned off, so we keep no record of these requests. A pay link to your own payment provider (for example PayPal or Stripe) opens that provider's site, under its own privacy policy.

4. Logo generator

The logo generator makes marks from your business name on your device and saves the one you pick as an image in the app. Nothing is sent to us or to any other service.

5. Backups and exports

You can export a backup file, a CSV file or a PDF. These files are created on your device and go only where you send them, for example a folder you pick, an email, WhatsApp or a cloud drive you control. We do not receive copies. A backup file contains all your business data in readable form, so keep it safe.

6. No purchases, ads or analytics

If we add any service that sends data off your device, we will update this policy before we release it.

7. Permissions

The app asks for notification permission only to show local reminders for invoices that are due or overdue. It uses the start-up permission only to restore those reminders after the phone restarts. Photos for a logo or signature are picked in the system photo picker. You can refuse a permission; only the related feature stops.

8. Data deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes all app data from your device. Files you exported stay where you saved them and are yours to delete. We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. See Delete your data – Tickbill.

9. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority. Your business data is only on your device, so you use these rights directly in the app (edit, export, delete). If you email us, we use your email only to reply to you.

10. Your rights (CCPA/CPRA, California) and India (DPDP Act)

We do not collect, sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. If you email us, we use your email address only to reply and we keep the thread for up to 12 months for support history.

11. Your clients' data

You may enter your clients' names, addresses, phone numbers, emails and tax IDs. This data stays on your device. You are responsible for using it lawfully, for example only to bill and contact them.

12. Children

The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. We will also note material changes in the app's release notes.
